Dr. Rachel Epstein is one of a very select few of board-certified dermatologists on the West Coast of Florida who is fellowship trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, the most effective and precise treatment for certain skin cancers. After residency, Dr. Epstein went on to complete a prestigious one year ACGME procedural dermatology fellowship in Mohs, reconstructive and cosmetic dermatologic surgery. She has successfully completed thousands of Mohs surgery procedures with advanced reconstructions. Dr. Epstein has been recognized by both her peers and her patients for excellence in her specialty. She has been named as Patients’ Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Award. In addition to her work with patients, Dr. Epstein has been the recipient of national awards for her lectures and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.

EDUCATION
Dr. Epstein earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology and Exercise physiology with a minor in Chemistry and Art at the University of Miami. She then completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with highest honors. Following medical school, Dr. Epstein completed an Internship at SunCoast Hospital/Largo Medical Center. She then became co-chief resident, completing her dermatology residency at Largo Medical Center/Bay Pines VA. Dr. Epstein then went on to complete a highly competitive Procedural Dermatology Fellowship emphasizing skin oncology, Mohs micrographic surgery, laser, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

In addition to her artistic eye and surgical precision, Dr. Epstein values her patients’ trust and comfort. She is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to her patients in an ethical and compassionate setting.
PERSONAL
In her free time, Dr. Epstein loves spending time outdoors and traveling. She is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys pilates, barre and yoga. Dr. Epstein is a former junior olympic swimmer and junior national triathlete champion. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her husband and their three young children.

Dr. Epstein has served as an Academic Instructor at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and is a Volunteer Instructor for Nova Southeastern University. She has a passion for teaching medical students and residents procedural dermatology. Dr. Epstein maintains active membership in several professional societies to ensure she is at the forefront of dermatologic treatment and research.

Christina is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based dermatologic care. She is known for her compassionate and thorough approach, with a strong emphasis on early detection of skin cancers using dermoscopy. She values the diversity of dermatology and enjoys the unique blend of science and artistry involved in cosmetic treatments.
EDUCATION
Christina earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida and completed her nursing education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Gabby is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys diagnosing and treating a wide variety of skin conditions while taking the time to educate patients and develop personalized treatment plans. She believes that helping patients understand their skin is just as important as treating it and strives to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard and cared for. Prior to dermatology, she gained years of clinical experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Prior to nursing, she earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from The University of Central Florida before continuing on to complete her B.S. in Nursing. She then earned her Master’s in Family Nursing from The George Washington University before becoming board-certified through the ANCC.
